WHAT AM I EVEN DOING
what am i even doing? what am i even doing? i have waited SIX MONTHS to write a blog because i thought, i am almost done with this. i am almost finished with this. i am almost at a stopping point. but then i didn't, and i still am not.
but here they are, the whats that i am even doing:
RUMPUS
max and i revised all the cards and started playtesting the core scenarios in september. in january we finished that and started writing the final draft of the rulebook. we also commissioned tine fieldling to sculpt twelve minis based on brett's artwork. brett has been working on a cover illustration for the game box. every day the game gets More Real!! i'm really happy with everything we have done so far and eager to be done.

dellon and i playtested A MEAT MEETING BETWEEN TWO HILLS which is the first scenario for HHTAITPBTIW. then we started making it into a zine. it is ALMOST done. a thing that i have discovered that is Important To Me is you should be able to have everything you need to play your new game out-of-the-box, which means making tokens and standees and templates and good rules. so i have been drawing a lot of things and i am very happy about it but drawing takes a long time. but i'm getting faster. but there's still a lot to draw.

i took a long break from sculpting, but now i am doing it again, a little bit at a time. i finally started making the new head for the giant and i fixed his heels so he could stand up. i really like sculpting and i'm hoping to get better at just doing a little bit now and then, rather than waiting for a huge block of time that won't materialize.
